The Indian Army, PORTER RECRUITMENT RALLY – 2025 in collaboration with the District Administration of Tawang, invites eligible local residents to participate in a Porter Recruitment Rally for temporary engagement as Civilian Porters in support of Army units operating in high-altitude areas.
You are requested to inform the general public that recruitment rally of porters will be conducted at Tawang Festival Ground near SSB Camp, Chuje GG (Tawang), care of 99 APO from 07 May 2025 onwards for a total of 600 porters. The total engagement period will be for 179 days only.

Interested candidates/ persons should report to Porter Company location after duly complying with above conditions at 0800 hrs on 07 May 2025 along with the original documents and Xerox copies. Details are as under:-
- Age Proof 18 to 40 Yrs (DOB betn 10 Nov 1985 to 14 May 2007).
- Proof of Residence.
- Police Verification not more than 6 month old.
- Identity proof (Voter ID/Aadhar Card) Certificate from Village Panchayat/ Gaon Burha.
- Inner Line Permit for non residents of AP.
- 12 Passport Size photos & 04 photos of NOK.
- Bank Acct detis (Preferably SBI Account, cancelled cheque leaf & passbook copy).
- PMJJBY / Life insurance Cert.
- Medical Fitness Cert certifying emp in High Altitude Area.
