ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Assam Police Constable AB/UU 2023

The Candidate must satisfy the following criteria.:-

• Nationality- Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected Candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list. However, Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
• Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
• Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Assam Police AB/UB Constable Age Limit :

• Minimum Age : 18 years
• Maximum Age : 25 years
• (i.e. the Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998)

Relaxations :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:

• SC, ST (P) and ST (H) : 5 (five) years
• OBC/MOBC : 3 (three) years
• Additional relaxation Home Guards/members of VDPs (registered : 3 (three) years.
• FMMOs/SPOs (Certificateto this effect from Competent Authority will have to be submitted) : 10 (ten) years.

Male Candidates

Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).

Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances)

CHIN UP ONLY FOR MALE CANDIDATES WHO APPLIY FOR CONSTABLE (AB)

For less than 4 chin ups	Disqualified
For 4 chin ups	10 marks
For 5 chin ups	11 marks
For 6 chin ups	12 marks
For 7 chin ups	13 marks
For 8 chin ups	14 marks
For 9 chin ups	15 marks
For 10 chin ups	16 marks
For 11 chin ups	17 marks
For 12 chin ups	18 marks

For 13 chin ups	19 marks

For chin ups more than 14 times no extra marks will be awarded.

Female Candidates:

Race : Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600 metres race to be completed within 08 minutes .
